October 7th, 2016 Our job is never done when it comes to learning, growing and expanding the way Btec manufactures precision metal parts for our customers. Now Btec continues that trend by to expand our internal capabilities with the purchase and installation of a new in-house Laser Marking system. The need and benefit for Part Marking a product is evident and a requirement for numerous industries and our customers. Our customers are important to us, so we made a change.
Our new Laser Marking machine helps to streamline production and delivery. Previously this process would be outsourced adding up to a week before a customer would receive a shipment. This process is now done internally within a few minutes of production. We can now mark items as needed from project to project with no hassle, and all under our very own roof.

August 25th, 2015 Btec has now added Laser welding to its list of internal capabilities. Laser welding is an expanding technology that is being specified by Design Engineers now more than ever. Laser beam welding is a newer welding technique that uses a laser to join many pieces of metal. The beam provides a concentrated heat source, allowing for narrow, deep welds and high welding rates. Our team of machinists are very excited to now use this laser welding technology for customer projects in Aerospace, Automotive, Energy, Oil, Government Industries and much more. (more…)
July 18th, 2015 Btec is pleased to be expanding our CNC machines, in-house, by adding more lathes and multiple mills to our shop’s inventory. We are enhancing our capabilities and capacity with the addition of 6 new CNC Machines. Purchased at IMTS in September 2014, the last of 6 new machines was installed in July 2015. The new equipment additions include 2 Okuma Lathes, 2 Okuma 3 Axis Mills and 2 Okuma 4 Axis Mills.
These new items are just a few of the many instruments that make Btec so powerful in the metal manufacturing industry. Our sophisticated equipment help us to bring ideas to the table when a customer is stuck on their next move. October 25th, 2013 This year brought Btec the opportunity to bring another customer’s concepts from paper to manufacturing fruition. Lifetime Tooling Products developed an innovated design for a significantly improved roof flashing. The concept was great from Lifetime Tooling Products, but the track to produce the final result was unknown to them. They needed a company to create the metal concept, provide quality assurance testing and assembly, and bring their roof flashing to life for the consumers. That’s when Btec and it’s manufacturing knowledge stepped in to help organize the “how to” of the project’s logistics, providing solutions and guidance. (more…)
July 15th, 2013 Btec was pleased to bring all of our employees together this past weekend, to celebrate a milestone, our 10 Year Anniversary! The 10 Year Anniversary celebration began with Btec renting one of the restaurants at Citizens Bank Park. We invite all our employees, and their significant others, to help us celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary with some delicious foods and beverages at the Park before the main event for the day. Our team then had the chance to enjoy some more rest and relaxation with a baseball game, with the Philadelphia Phillies playing a game against the Chicago White Sox.
